Islamic Republic of Farabi Cinema Foundation
Born in 1975 in Tehran, Reza TASHAKKORI is a graduate in English Translation from Azad University .He started his professional career in 1999 as the Festivals Executive in international affairs of Farabi Cinema Foundation, introducing and promoting new productions of Iranian Cinema all over the world. He is extensively cooperating with Fajr International Film Festival and Iranian International Children and Young Adults Film Festival since then.
In 2005 he was also appointed as the Head of International Affairs of Aviny Cultural Institute, an active organisation in the production and distribution of Iranian movies and also in charge of pre-selection of foreign movies suitable for the local thematic film festivals. He was served as a jury member in Bursa International Silk Road Film Festival in 2008.
He is the cultural advisor on the fields of cinema and TV and recently was also selected as the Manager of International Affairs of Majid Majidi Production Co.
